Pomegranate Martini

We recently had an impromptu get together with some friends and quickly whipped together these fancy pomegranate martinis. We happened to have some pomegranate juice in the fridge and figured it would taste great with vodka. We were right! Our friends loved it and asked us to put the recipe on the blog. Here it is for all of you to enjoy!

Ingredients for 2 drinks:
1/2 cup of pomegranate juice
1/2 cup of vodka
1 tablespoon of triple sec
Ice
Raspberries to garnish (optional)

Kitchen Essentials:
Martini glasses
Measuring cups
Measuring spoons
Martini shaker
Decorative bamboo skewer (optional)

Prep:
Grab a raspberry and softly pierce it with the decorative bamboo skewer. Set aside.

Directions:
Measure out the pomegranate juice, vodka and triple sec and add to the martini shaker. Fill with ice and shake vigorously for 30 to 45 seconds. Pour the chilled mixture into your martini glass, place your raspberry garnish in the glass and enjoy immediately!

TIP: If making for a party, mix all the ingredients into a large pitcher and place into the refrigerator. All you have to do is pour the mixture into the martini shaker, fill with ice, shake for 30 to 45 seconds and serve! This prevents you from measuring out drinks the entire night and allows you to actually enjoy the party!
