Searching for Color in North Carolina

Although we love living in Miami, we hate the fact that we cannot witness the beauty of the seasons changing. So every Fall, we pack our bags and head to a place where we can experience the changing of the leaves, the crisp air and pure nature. This year, we headed out to North Carolina with our traveling Chihuahua Joey! Here are some snapshots of our trip:

  1. Absolutely beautiful pictures! I guess when you've moved away from a place like this (we came from Michigan, to California), you can really appreciate it. And get a bit nostalgic too :)
    Thanks for posting!

  2. Thank you for the friend request on Foodbuzz...I decided to visit your blog before I responded back to you on Foodbuzz comment.
We have a few things in common. You are from Miami, and I am from West Palm Beach...You have a Chihuahua named Joey, and we have a Chihuahua named Luigi...and my adult son's name is Joey...LOL...how funny is that?
Also, we get away to North Carolina in the summer for two weeks.
Love all the beautiful fall photos, and your breakfast potatoes look so yummy, I want to make it for the weekend!

  5. You took so many lovely photos! The colours are almost gone here in New England. A week ago they were blazing, but we've had a frost and now the leaves are practically raining off the trees. I love fall, but I hate to see it pass into winter! Can I come stay with you in Miami for the months of February and March???
